Minutes of Meeting – AlfaSeeYas
November 10, 2006
Boerne, Texas
The meeting of the FMCA chapter of AlfaSeeYas was called to order by President Bruce Monte at 7:05 P.M.Bruce welcomed and thanked the members for attending the meeting.Present at the Meeting were the following officers:Bruce Monte, Rosemary Monte, Treasurer and Karen Hugo, Secretary.
Bruce introduced the officers present, and also Hannah Dubuc, Membership Chairman.
Karen read the minutes from the February 2, 2006 meeting and they were approved. Karen added to the minutes that the Standing Rules proposed in the newsletter were voted and approved.
Rosemary read the Treasurer’s Report. We have $20,460.44 in the Treasury, but some bills for this rally are still outstanding. The cost of mailing the newsletter is $800-$1,000/per issue. Rosemary asked for volunteers to serve as the Audit Committee. The Audit Committee will consist of Dan Sheppard, Ken Baas, and Jan Smith. They will perform the audit of the AlfaSeeYas books on Sunday morning while at this rally.
Hannah reminded the members to inform us about any change of address and that she sends out renewal notices for their AlfaSeeYas dues. She also reminded us that in order to be a member of the AlfaSeeYas, you must be a current member of FMCA.
New Business:
Bruce gave a list of the upcoming rallies. He also asked for volunteers to be wagonmasters for rallies and also volunteers for officers to replace the outgoing officers.He gave the URL address of the AlfaSeeYas webpage. There was also a sales pitch for the AlfaSeeYas jackets and caps as he will be placing an order early in December.
Paul Smith gave us a reminder about receiving the newsletter by email. If you would like to receive your newsletter by email, please tell Karen.Also, the newsletters are posted on the AlfaSeeYas website.
Jan Smith asked Rosemary if the chapter files a Tax Report each year.The answer was yes even though we pay no taxes.
