Minutes of Meeting – AlfaSeeYas
March 16, 2004
Albuquerque, New Mexico
The meeting of the FMCA AlfaSeeYas was called to order by President Bruce Monte at 3:55 PM. Bruce introduced the chapter officers who were present at this meeting. Those officers present were Bruce Monte, Rosemary Monte, Karen Hugo, and Ken Sims.
Rosemary Monte read the Treasurer’s Report. The Treasury has a balance of $6061.98. Ken Sims made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report as read. The motion was seconded by Gini Sims. Motion carried.
Rosemary stated that we had gained seven new members at the current FMCA rally.
Karen Hugo read the minutes from the Charter Meeting of May 19, 2003 at Sevierville, Tenn. Motion to approve the Minutes as read made by Lonnie Phillips. The motion was seconded by Gini Sims. Motion carried.
Total membership as of March 16, 2004 is 346 households.
Bruce talked about the FMCA AlfaSeeYas jackets and hats. The price for jackets is $50 plus shipping and hats are $10 each.
Bruce also gave locations for future rallies:
Aug 2004 - Salem, Oregon
Oct 2004 - Delaware
Jan 2005 – Palm Desert, CA (Bill & Peggy Harju, wagon masters)
Feb 2005 – Florida (Dale & Liz Ouderkirk, Joe & Mary Schoenmaker, wagon masters)
March 2005 – Perry, Georgia
Oct 2005 – Albuquerque, NM (during Balloon Fiesta)
We need Rally masters for Oregon, Delaware, and Georgia. We need volunteers.
The AlfaSeeYas will be donating $100 to purchase a stone with the chapter name for the Will Hinckley Home for Boys and Girls which is an FMCA sponsored charity.
Alfa Leisure fully supports the Chapter and have donated items to be given away as prizes at the rallies.
Once a year FMCA sends a box of items with the FMCA logo to be given as prizes at rallies.
The next newsletter will be mailed in 2-3 weeks. We are still looking for a name of our newsletter. Hannah Dubuc is in charge of handling a contest for the newsletter name. Newsletter name suggestions should be submitted to Hannah.
Bruce showed us a name badge design for our chapter which includes FMCA number and Alfa coach number. Name badge order forms will be in the next newsletter. Individuals will order their badges direct from Too Crazy Ladies.
Bruce reminded attendees of the two Yahoo websites regarding the Alfa motorhome.
Bruce introduced Ed Bates and Steven King of Alfa Leisure, Inc. They are working the rally at Earnhart’s RV display.
The Meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
