Chapter Meeting Minutes

Minutes of the meeting of the AlfaSeeYas Chapter

February 2, 2006

Brooksville FL

Meeting was called to order by President Bruce Monte at 5:30 pm

Bruce introduced Jay Blumenthal, International Area President of FMCA, and his wife Donna. Jay spoke to the members, especially noting the benefit of Medex to the members. He handed out cards with the Medex 800 number. Jay also answered member’s questions. Jay encouraged AlfaSeeYas members to attend the International Chapter Rally in Gillette WY this June.

Upcoming rallies were mentioned; the FMCA International Conventions in Pomona CA in March and in Charlotte NC this August at which AlfaSeeYas would caravan in to park together. The AlfaSeeYas Gathering in Hopedale IL, September 21-26, was discussed. Wagonmasters are Mike & Karol Lippert. The September 2006 Branson rally is sold out, with a short waiting list. The AlfaSeeYas at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Rally will be for four nights starting October 10, 2006. Owen & Terry O’Neill are the wagonmasters.

The work done by Jim & Kris Huber on the SeeYa Connection was recognized. Members were encouraged to read the newsletter to find information about their coaches, and rallies and other activities. 

Thanks were given to Tony Monson for establishing www.AlfaSeeYas.com as another means of publicizing the chapter.

Rosemary Monte presented the Treasurer’s Report. As of 12/31/05 the chapter bank balance was $24,460.53 with approximately $14,200 to be paid out for the Emerald Desert and Lazy Days rallies. The Treasurer reminded members to make all checks payable to AlfaSeeYas and send dues to the chapter’s Cincinnati address and all rally fees to Terry O’Neill at her address.

Motion was made to close the meeting. Motion seconded. Meeting adjourned at 5:52 pm
