I just received notification of a safety recall from Daimler (they own Freightliner).
The steering arm and front axle tie rods were installed incorrectly and require replacement. A no cost safety recall which includes my 2007 Alfa Founder.
You should ask whether your unit is impacted by this recall and get it done. Losing steering would be annoying.
I do not know which ALFA models nor which years Freightliner are included in the recall.
